I finally made it to the island of Puerto Rico in June 2021 to visit my family, friends and beautiful country since the pandemic. There are a few restrictions to note that are very different than USA while traveling to Puerto Rico.
When traveling to Puerto Rico you must complete the travel declaration. Everyone over 2 year old who is not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with Moderna, Pfizer or Janssen vaccines, must provide evidence of a negative molecular or antigen test for COVID-19 performed within the 72 hour period prior to the arrival to the island. https://1link.travelsafe.pr.gov/
People still must follow mask mandate around. Many businesses (if not all) will not allow you to enter without facial protection. At some stores, they are still taking people's temperature before entering and sanitizing their hands. If you visit the island, please follow the rules! This is not by choice but to protect every single one of us, so do not take it personal!
The distancing does not seem to be super strict but that is mostly because many people have already been vaccinated and everyone is still wearing their masks.
