What to Pack for Atlantis at The Bahamas

Updated: Dec 22, 2019

If you are like me, we need to make a list of items to pack to make sure we do not forget anything. This trip for us was a family vacation, so a packing list is a must. Here is my list which included 2 adults and 2 kids for a trip to Atlantis at the Bahamas which required taking two flights to get to our destination.

1. Passports

2. Credit cards and cash (call credit cards if needed ahead of time)

3. Snacks/Food for the plane and for the hotel

4. Empty water bottles (to be filled at the airport)

5. Easy Breakfast Items - since we do not have the meal plan and we do not always want to go out for breakfast

6. kid's devices & phones

7. games/books (audibles too), movie downloads

8. sunblock and more sunblock (i hear it is mega expensive at the hotel)

9. first aid kit (some emergency pills/medicine and band aids)

10. bug repellent and anti-itch cream (we always seem to need this in warm locations)

11. baby wipes

12. tooth brush

13. hair brush or comb

14. toiletries (deodorant, hair supplies, make up, shampoo, conditioner, face soap, shaving items, tooth paste)

15. Face cream supplies (for mommy's crazy regimen)

16. beach bag

17. water shoes

18. flip flops

19. regular clothes

20. bathing suits (a few)

21. bathing suits cover-all

22. one nice set of clothes (for a nice dinner) and shoes for it

23. workout clothes and shoes and socks

24. water pants / shirts (we don't want to burn and also for the crazy slides)

25. hats

26. sunglasses

27. eye contacts

28. glasses

29. small purse

30. snorkels or goggles

31. water phone case

32. cameras and go pro

33. charges for cameras, phones, devices, etc (no need for us for international plug for this one) & Multiplug

34. Extra battery pack(s)

35. portable speaker

36. binoculars

37. walkie talkies - wifi was pretty bad we were able to communicate with our crew this way

38. feminine hygiene items (always as back-up)

39. rain jacket and umbrella (weather will never stop us)

40. books, download books (or audibles)

41. pen (sometimes we forget to bring a pen for international flights and the paperwork)

42. maybe the backpack cooler

43. check-in and reservations photos or print outs

44. charge all devices

45. Optional for the little kids: car seat, stroller, life vest (at Bahamas, we do not need the car seat for our kids and we are OK with it. We also will not be bringing the stroller and the life vests - they have life vests all over the water park)
